The IoTC is hosting a Smart Cities Executive Dinner in Washington DC to discuss the future opportunities and challenges of rolling out smart cities across the US
It takes a village to build the internet of things. As new smart cities ecosystems emerge, public and private groups from widely different backgrounds must align and partner with citizens to create new business models that are sustainable for years to come.
The IoT Consortium was honored to host city leaders from Washington DC, Baltimore, Kansas City, Louisville, Las Vegas & executives from Microsoft, Intel, Verizon, Mastercard, Comcast, Cox, Bank of America and many more this past week in Washington DC to discuss the many opportunities and challenges that lie ahead. The conversation around how we can drive the tech industry forward without a clearly-defined national agenda was a fascinating one.
A special thanks to IoTC advisors Bob Bennett & Michael Mattmiller for co-hosting. Can’t wait to do it again soon.
