September 4th, 2019 | 12PM ET
The here and now prize for the smart tech industry is adults aged 50-65 whose spending will outpace their younger cohorts by a multiple of two. Not to mention, life expectancies and quality of life metrics are increasing, thanks in part to smart tech that is affording individuals and their caregivers greater independence, safety and security. I’ll discuss current trends driven by advances in sensor technologies, wearables, voice assistants, artificial intelligence, and GPS capabilities and how this will shape the way we live and age well in single-family home or multi-family environments.
