Digital Manufacturing Solutions Architect

Description
The role is responsible to drive the design of effective manufacturing solutions integrating new technologies and platforms (IoT, Industrial IoT, Cloud, Industrie 4.0, ML, AI) to optimize supply chain and productions floor operations. By partnering and working with other key stakeholder and third-party suppliers, is responsible to leverage and deploy standard solutions across multiple factories

Responsibilities

  • Active involvement to define strategic digital manufacturing initiatives roadmaps
  • Lead, execute and deliver IT efforts to design optimal manufacturing 4.0 system solutions incorporating new technologies in close partnership with Global Operations stakeholders
  • Gain a broader understanding across multiple brand and factories to define and deploy standard solutions
  • Actively looking for specific business needs where digital manufacturing/industries 4.0 solutions could provide substantial benefits
  • Active promoter of experimenting and executing proof-of-concepts to incorporate digital manufacturing initiatives
  • Ensure the right utilization of technological platforms in manufacturing
  • Working with other IT and Global Operations groups to ensure successful execution and delivery of business solutions
  • Keep constant communication with key stakeholders

Requirements 

  • 5+ years of proven experience with large manufacturing operational business systems
  • Experience with multiple manufacturing processes (assembly, sub-assembly, quality, maintenance, supply chain), system applications and general understanding of ERPs
  • Solid experience architecting and delivering new IT technologies including but not limited to IoT, AI/ML across factory operations
  • Experience developing comprehensive requirements, completing Impact Assessments, and writing business cases that identify value of the change.
  • Ability work independently as well as to influence and collaborate with others
  • Solid knowledge around Software Development Lifecycle management methodology
  • Team player, change agent, and customer-driven mentality
  • Strong work ethic, results oriented

Educational

  • Bachelor or Engineering Degree in Computer Sciences required
  • Proven experience with designing and implementing IT manufacturing and/or supply chain related solutions
