Tile Director of Brand and Product Marketing

The Director of Marketing plays a critical role in bringing Tile’s brand and product marketing strategies to life. You oversee all integrated marketing activities and campaigns and new product/feature launches, and work closely with product, sales and the rest of the marketing team to drive key metrics and revenue growth. The Director of  Marketing also coordinates all communication activities with PR, performance marketing and CRM to maintain consistent messaging and aligned messaging cadence.

Responsibilities

    • Partner with Creative Director to own definition and ongoing development of the Tile brand
    • Drive the overall strategy and approach for integrated marketing campaigns in support of product launches, new feature launches, brand campaigns and partner launches
    • Own the Integrated Marketing Calendar, driving campaign development and coordinating across marketing channel teams to execute flawlessly
    • Develop integrated marketing campaigns across a broad marketing mix including broadcast, digital, social, CRM, promotions, retail/channels and partner channels to drive business results and consumer engagement
    • Drive primary and secondary research initiatives that will inform and assist with brand development, marketing campaign development and product roadmapping and positioning
    • Lead the cross-functional team including Product, Sales, Digital/EComm, Channel Marketing, PR and Customer Care in the development and execution of go-to-market plans and integrated marketing campaigns
    • Partner with Business Development to develop Platform/Partner marketing strategies and execute partner marketing campaigns in support of product launches and relevant seasonal initiatives
    • Define and lead product marketing initiatives for our core products and services, including the Tile family of trackers and the Tile app
    • Partner with Product team to develop a joint vision of our customer segments and to develop product roadmaps
    • Understand the market landscape, including but not limited to understanding of consumer segments, competitive landscape and channel needs in order to develop brand, product and go-to-market strategies

Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year university (MBA preferred)
    • 5+ years in a brand and/or product  marketing role with leading consumer brand(s)
    • Extensive experience across the full B2C marketing mix is a must with experience and a passion for consumer technology products and services a huge plus.
    • Excellent understanding of a breadth of Primary Market Research methods and techniques
    • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
    • Experience managing and mentoring direct report(s) and a track record of helping more junior team members develop and excel
    • Build and maintain effective working relationships with department and other functional divisions. Must be able to collaborate with multiple business owners and external partners
    • Experience working with, managing and driving measurable results from creative teams and media agencies
    • A strong track record showing a bias for action and “can-do” attitude
    • Strong Presentation, oral and written communication skills required.
    • Maintain strict confidentiality with privileged information, work well with others and handle a high-pressure environment.
